Vocal Instructor

Nobel has trained professional and amateur singers way back in Manila and conducted numerous choirs as well. He was the Musical Director of the University of Santo Tomas Action Singers, the official choir of the university, (now famously known as the UST Singers) for 3 years. In Hong Kong, he is often involved in different areas of the music scenes; making corporate jingles for radio commercials, vocal coaching and directing choirs. He has recently released a CD with all his compositions sung by a Filipino singer based in HK. Nobel has also performed with a showband and toured the key cities of Asia for 8 years. He is classically trained that but that does not limit him to be performing Top 40 hits as well. His first involvement with “Leaving” as musical director was in 2003 under the invitation of Mohamed Drissi when the musical was staged by the Musical Theatre Dance Department of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. Nobel is also the choir director of FAUST’s production of ‘Peter Pan’ (Hong Kong, Singapore and Manila 2005- 2007) and “Around the World in 80 Days (2006).” A graduate of Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, he is presently the Music Specialist Teacher at Hong Lok Yuen International School of the New Territories.
